Marissa studied interior design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Barcelona, Spain while working as an international luxury real estate agent with Lucas Fox International Properties. The beauty and artistry of the architecture of the city is what sparked her love of all things design, and the ethos that if something needs to be functional, might as well make it beautiful, too.

She moved back to the US in 2021 and settled in Nashville, TN where she co-founded the Gossamer Interiors design studio. She is a Palo Alto native and returned to Silicon Valley in 2024 to open her own design business.

Investing in real estate is both a hobby and passion of hers; she owns an STR in Asheville, NC as well as having completed several personal projects during her time in Barcelona. She holds real estate licenses in Tennessee and North Carolina – California license coming soon!
